Size 6 to 12: 4" Size 2: 5 Size 4: 5.5 Size 6: 6 Size 8: 6.5 Size 10: 7 Size 12: 7.5 On all sizes Knit 4 rows even. Bind off as if to purl. Repeat all rows for a second piece. Sew shoulders leaving a 7, (7, 7.5, 7.5, 8, 8, 8.5)" hole for the neck opening. With right sides together , sew under sleeve and side seams as one seam. Some changes you might like to make: Knit and purl your sleeve stitches slipping the first stitch on every row and dont do the three beginning and end stitches
in knit. After completing the sweater, seam the shoulders , then pick up and knit the slipped stitches at the bottom of the
sleeve. Work in K1, P1 for 8 rows and bind off. Gives a nice little cuff to your sweater. You can also pick up the neck stitches as follows After the shoulder seams are sewn you can also , with a 16" size 6 or 7 circular needle Pick up_______ stitches 5sts to 1"

84 Knit 1, Purl 1 around for 6 rows. Bind off loosely in Purl. You may also prefer to knit your sweater in the round. Cast on double the amount of stitches(front
and back) and knit in the round on a circular needle until your sweater reaches the underarms. Work the sleeves
on straight needles. Another tip is to knit to the neckline, bind off your center neckline stitches (neckline opening
size times the gauge ) on your knit row , then cast those stitches back on during the following row. This row will start
your back side of the sweater. Follow the directions, then in reverse for your second piece.
